Verwende dabei beim Router Steckplatz 1 bzw. 2 bzw. 3 oder 4. (nicht den Port wo Internet draufsteht) * Der Linksys WRT54G hat ab Werk die IP-Adresse 192.168.1.1. Um mit ihm über deinen Computer "Kontakt aufzunehmen", muss dein Computer eine IP-Adresse zwischen 192.168.1.2 und 192.168.1.254 kriegen. * Diese kann automatisch über DHCP zugewiesen werden (würde auch händisch funktionieren): <
>Start -> Systemsteuerung -> Netzwerkverbindungen <
>Die LAN Verbindung muß aktiviert sein <
>LAN-Verbindung -> Rechte Maustaste -> Eigenschaften <
>Internetprotokoll (TCP/IP) muß aktiv sein <

>IP-Adresse automatisch beziehen <
>DNS-Serveradresse automatisch beziehen <

>Methode B: Über FTP mit '''tftp''' ''(Trivial file transfer protocol client)'' == Methode A - WebInterface == Wechsle auf das (Original-) Web-Interface des Routers. <
>http://192.168.1.1 Du wirst daraufhin nach einem Passwort gefragt. <
>Standardmäßig lautet dieses Passwort "admin" (ohne Anführungszeichen), der Benutzername bleibt leer. <
>Wechsle im Web-Interface zu 'Administration -> Firmware Upgrade'. <
>Wähle das zuvor runtergeladene [[http://www.olsr.org|olsr Software]] (z.B: "openwrt-g-freifunk-x.y.z-en.bin bzw. .trx") aus. <
>Der Router beginnt die neue Firmware zu schreiben. <
>Zum Abschluß bekommst du idealerweise eine Mitteilung dass alles geklappt hat. == Methode B - FTP == Es gibt auch eine wunderschöne Anleitung auf der [[http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Installing/TFTP|OpenWRT Seite]] Versuche zuerst ob du den Router von deinem PC aus erreichst. Das heist du öffnest eine Commandline Start->Ausführen, dort gibst du "cmd" ein und drückst Enter.<

>Remove the power supply to the device. <
>Reconnect the power supply to the device. <
>Wait approximately 2 seconds until the network LEDs? light up. <

>The power LED of the device blinks to indicate the update is being done. <
